and her family: Josh, Emeri, Paisli, & Tenley
I’m a lifelong Idahoan and have lived in the Pocatello area for over 15 years now. My husband and I love raising our family here. I love to be outdoors: fishing, camping, hiking, running, gardening, and jumping on the trampoline with my kids. =) I love to travel and experience other cultures. I am a scientist at heart (A.S. Arts and Sciences - Ricks College, B.S. Biological Sciences - Idaho State University; with courses in Child Development, Child Psychology, and early learning courses). I am a mommy of three little girls, each of whom came prematurely with a set of unique challenges to overcome. We were involved in intensive monitoring and therapies through their young childhood to make sure each of them developed and “caught up” to their best potential. Watching them struggle, progress, and eventually surpass expectations is one of my main reasons for loving the teaching process, especially in early childhood. They are 9, 7, and almost 3 now. My school-aged girls are 2-3 reading levels above their own grade and are excelling in every subject. I believe a lot of the credit for this goes to the learning in their early years that gave them confidence and an extra-strong base to grow from as they entered kindergarten.
Together with you, I will help your child on the path of discovery and kindergarten readiness, Step-by-Step! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach your child!
